If you're like me, I really don't like the fuss, the teddies, the huge cards, the proposals, the amount of red. The red alone. Its nice to have a day dedicated to love and all, but if you ask me, I prefer the little things - and to show it more than a measly once a year. Twice if you count the anniversary.
So as I was browsing the internet one night last week, I stumbled upon a unique little cookbook. Date Night Cookbook by Rebecca Warbis (I purchased mine here).

To be honest, whats better than good home cooked food….? and a date night with your favourite. i read a few reviews and was quick to purchase this book, it was dispatched the next day and arrived the following working day.
It's a nice little size and the photography and content of the book is flawless, it completely lured me in. It will have you wishing for summer with food ideas for dates at the beach, under the stars and . But it doesn't end there, feeling the winter blues? Breakfast in bed or movie marathons are clear winners (and don't break the bank!)
The best part about this is that none of it is too costly, you prepare your food and head to your chosen location and voila! Date time! Theres options for veggies, meat eaters and just snacks or drinks, but its all healthy, lovely food. There's definitely some effective Valentine's Day Date Night plans to have a go at, be it with your other half or a girls night!
