Black Tea, White Tea, Herbal Tea…..Bath Tea?

Hi,

So i'm going to do my first beauty post today, because a healthy lifestyle includes healthy skin right?
I stumbled across a post via Lily Melrose (llymlrs) about a new product launched by The Body Shop which is literally Green Tea for your bath. (I know.) Which of course, being a lover of all things tea - even my night cream has Green Tea in it! - There was no excuse for me to even consider not giving this one a whirl.

Fuji Green Tea Bath Tea - Review

Whilst Green Tea is very much well known for its internal health benefits, it is also believed to help the skin in a variety of ways. The antioxidant tea is sourced from the Mount Fuji region of Japan and is said to cleanse and replenish the skin. The range includes a body scrub, lotion, sorbet, shower gel, exfoliating soap, body butter and cologne, so you're spoilt for choice or if you really want a pamper session you can choose a number of the products!

Like any loose tea, to save it from going all over the water and keeping it neat and tidy, a strainer is available. How cute? There is room to fill it with as much or as little of the product as desired and just hang it from the bath into the water to let the goodness infuse.

It smells fantastic so as you can imagine, I was in the bath for quite some time. It was very refreshing and I was pleased to feel results before I had even left the bath. My skin felt a little tighter, due to my pores. It also felt a little softer. It is a product that definitely requires you to moisturise from the get go, as it is filled with a vast amount of salt, ultimately having a dry effect on the skin. It's a product that really looks after you're skin, whilst possibly a little pricey if you were to buy a few of the products, its definitely worth the treat as its not something i'd necessarily use on my skin a good five times a week!
It's also fairly natural so its good if you're looking for something that doesn't contain a tonne of chemicals.

The packaging is really earthy, with the greens, the clear bottles and the silver tin giving off refreshing and simple vibes! Lovely products!

I'd be interested to know what any of you thought of this product or if you've tried anything else from the range!
